THIULDT 2027 – 10th Anniversary Edition
The Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament brings together up to 32 universities worldwide for an international competition conducted in English, focusing on contemporary legal issues and the development of advocacy, critical thinking and public speaking skills.
Under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr Alain Berset.
Concours Inter-Universitaire de Débat de La Haye 2027 – 6e édition
Our international French-language debating competition welcomes up to 32 higher education institutions worldwide. The 2027 edition will explore the theme « La gastronomie dans les pays de la Francophonie », encouraging students from all academic disciplines to debate cultural, economic, social and international issues.
On , the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) – Western Europe described the Concours as the most important annual university debating competition in French. Read the AUF article (in French).

The Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament (THIULDT)
An international English-language law debate competition bringing together universities from around the world to explore contemporary legal challenges. The 2027 tournament marks its 10th anniversary.
Concours Inter-Universitaire de Débat de La Haye
An international French-language university debate competition open to students from all academic disciplines. Its 6th edition in 2027 focuses on gastronomy across the Francophone world.
The Hague International
An academic publication initiative providing a platform for legal commentary, research and perspectives on international affairs. Its collection of published articles remains accessible through the Foundation’s website.
