Corax Foundation, an organizer of the Concours Inter-Universitaire de La Haye and The Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament, has opened a call for volunteers and interns to join the organization team of the Concours Inter-Universitaire de La Haye 2024 and The Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament 2024.
Currently, 2 types of positions are available:
1. Communications/Marketing Intern
We’re seeking a dynamic Communications/Marketing Intern to contribute to our team, focusing on legal, political, and diplomatic affairs in an international context. This remote internship allows you to delve into research, content creation, and networking while gaining insights into global trends and affairs. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing topics, assisting in the development of project materials, and actively participating in stakeholder meetings.
Requirements: We’re looking for interns with excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and a keen interest in current affairs. Proficiency in English and/or French (B2 minimum) is required. Strong communication, research, and writing skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to a virtual working environment.
Candidates are not required to be physically present in The Hague, Netherlands. The position is hybrid – with the possibility to join our team virtually as well as in person (during the Final Week of competitions).

2. Student organiser
As a student volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting the organisation while gaining valuable experience in international relations, legal research and communications.
Responsibilities include researching and analyzing topics related to international law, assisting in the creation and editing of competition materials, attending calls with multiple and diverse stakeholders, and participating in visits to international organizations.
Candidates are not required to be physically present in The Hague, Netherlands. The position is hybrid – with the possibility to join our team virtually as well as in person (during the Final Week of competitions).
The length of the position is decided on an individual basis with successful applicants. The minimum length of the internship is 1 week (specifically during the Final Week of the competitions), and the maximum is 5 months (February – June). The start date and the duration of the placement will be decided based on the availability of the candidates and the organisational requirements.
Requirements:
We seek student volunteers with a strong interest in expanding their communication and/or research skills, networking abilities, creativity, and a keen interest in current global affairs.
Proficiency in English and/or French (B2 minimum), teamwork, writing, and research skills are essential.
Adaptability to a virtual working environment is a key attribute.

The placement provides training and a gradual start, meaning that the student will be guided and supported by senior members of the team to adapt to the hybrid project environment. Additionally, the placement will lead to:
